روى الترمذي وصححه عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ رضي الله عنه، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم، قَالَ: «ثَلَاثَةٌ يُحِبُّهُمُ اللَّهُ، وَثَلَاثَةٌ يُبْغِضُهُمُ اللَّهُ، فَأَمَّا الَّذِينَ يُحِبُّهُمُ اللَّهُ: فَرَجُلٌ أَتَى قَوْمًا فَسَأَلَهُمْ بِاللَّهِ وَلَمْ يَسْأَلْهُمْ بِقَرَابَةٍ بَيْنَهُ وَبَيْنَهُمْ فَمَنَعُوهُ، فَتَخَلَّفَ رَجُلٌ بِأَعْيَانِهِمْ فَأَعْطَاهُ سِرًّا لَا يَعْلَمُ بِعَطِيَّتِهِ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَالَّذِي أَعْطَاهُ، وَقَوْمٌ سَارُوا لَيْلَتَهُمْ حَتَّى إِذَا كَانَ النَّوْمُ أَحَبَّ إِلَيْهِمْ مِمَّا يُعْدَلُ بِهِ نَزَلُوا فَوَضَعُوا رُؤُوسَهُمْ، فَقَامَ أَحَدُهُمْ يَتَمَلَّقُنِي وَيَتْلُو آيَاتِي، وَرَجُلٌ كَانَ فِي سَرِيَّةٍ فَلَقِيَ العَدُوَّ فَهُزِمُوا وَأَقْبَلَ بِصَدْرِهِ حَتَّى يُقْتَلَ أَوْ يُفْتَحَ لَهُ، وَالثَّلَاثَةُ الَّذِينَ يُبْغِضُهُمُ اللَّهُ: الشَّيْخُ الزَّانِي، وَالفَقِيرُ المُخْتَالُ، وَالغَنِيُّ الظَّلُومُ»[1].

معاني المفردات:
فَسَأَلَهُمْ بِاللَّهِ: أي مستعطفا بالله قائلا: أنشدكم بالله أعطوني.

وَلَمْ يَسْأَلْهُمْ بِقَرَابَةٍ: أي ولم يقل: أعطوني بحق قرابة.

فَتَخَلَّفَ رَجُلٌ بِأَعْيَانِهِمْ: أي تأخر رجل من بينهم إلى جانب حتى لا يروه، فسبقهم بهذا الخير.

مِمَّا يُعْدَلُ بِهِ: أي من كل شيء يساوى بالنوم.

فَوَضَعُوا رُؤُوسَهُمْ: أي ناموا.

يَتَمَلَّقُنِي: أي يتضرع إليَّ.

فَهُزِمُوا: أي أهل الاسلام.
وَأَقْبَلَ بِصَدْرِهِ:
أي على القتال.

أَوْ يُفْتَحَ لَهُ: أي حتى يفوز بإحدى الحُسنيين.

الشَّيْخُ الزَّانِي: أي الرجل الكبير، ضد الشاب، وقيل: أي المحصَن الذي سبق له التزويج، ضد البِكر.

وَالفَقِيرُ المُخْتَالُ: أي المتكبر.

وَالغَنِيُّ الظَّلُومُ: أي كثير الظلم في المَطل وغيره.

وإنما خص الشيخ وأخويه بالذكر؛ لأن هذه الخصال فيهم أشد مذمة، وأكثر نُكرة.

ما يستفاد من الحديث:
1- إثبات صفتي المحبة والبغض لله عز وجل.
2- فضيلة صدقة السر؛ فأنها سبب لمحبة الله عز وجل لصاحبها.
3- فضيلة التضرع لله عز وجل عند تلاوة القرآن.
4- كلما كان الدافع على المعصية ضعيفا كان الذنب أعظم.
